I really enjoyed this AAR Mike! Great story and table. Is the cloth a commercial product? It is very effective.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I didn't know if folks were going to give up on the battle report because it was so long... 

The cloth is a 4'x3' neoprene mat with a plains/woodland side (pictured), and a nice desert side on the back. I wish I knew the name of the company. I bought it at a game store about 3-4 years ago. I just remember that it was a French company, if that helps any...
