Just reading through Mike’s comments. (Hope you enjoyed your holiday  )

I wonder if we overstretched ourselves ?
We had 5 units on the table plus the extra command and mg figures.
Rolling dice per figure, did take some time.
Rolling POOR dice almost every time didn't help at all.  .

We will play a smaller game this week.
Plan is to have a couple of US units, checking out a village, for stores and info.

I don’t think that’s one of the “actions” in the rules James, but tbh, I would cut back on US casualties

Well...kind of! If you get the "Fire Mission" Event Card early enough, why not?? One of the things I was thinking of doing to make it less tough was to add a second one of those cards to the deck...

So, maybe you will get a chance to stand off and blow up that VC Clubhouse! 

Thank you guys for all your efforts. I am going to work my way up slowly with more players. Next step is a solo game with three "players." Then, at World at War convention in Toledo in November and Hold the Line at Camp Perry, I will try four player games.

And yes, your scenery looks fantastic!! Next up for me, terrain-wise, is some bamboo patches and rice paddies.
