And the rest of the minis can't be used with other heads for a different project?

Nope!  Which means each mini comes in at a cost of two. So there probably won't be a whole lot more.  :'(

Mind you, it is a shame that Shadowforge doesn't offer these heads/helmets separately as they are not attached to the original mini and are pretty cool.

Shame  :?

What was the name of the Shadowforge figures that donated their heads?

Disregard.  I found them:  Anubis Guard in the fantasy section of their website, for others as web-o-tron challenged as I.

Searched the Shadowforge site for the Anubis heads but was unable to find them. Someone else find them and what is the section they are listed in?

Fantasy section: Anubis Guards.  The heads are NOT available separately.

Yep, fantasy section... Light Temple Anubis and Horus Guards.

Each mini comes in three pieces... body, helmet and shield.

New unit for my Egyptian Army... Prussian Volunteer Dragons  :o

This unit is a mix of the Evil Empires Wild Wargs plastic box kit and Foundry Prussian Dragoons. A bit of a conversion was necessary to put the two together. For each rider I used milliput to make a saddle, blanket rolls cut off some poor horses, greenstuff bits (with a mouth piece for those wargs that have their mouth open), and paper reins. For the officer I also removed his pistol and added a sword.

The little guy pictured is from Hasselfree.

Overall really happy with this unit.  :)

I don't know if it's helpful but Puppetswar and Kromlech have Egypt style Space Marine heads. Kromlech also has some kind of egypt melee weapons
Maybe this helps you with your project...

Edit:
Maxmini also has a new set:

Thanks, Hauptgefreiter.

I've seen them actually and they are definitely on the table for consideration. At this point I'm not sure what direction I will be taking the Egyptian Empire, though one of the things I have been considering is possibly going with a few irregular units with minis from the Brigade/Artizan Arab Revolt line.

One thing that is starting to loom large, however, as a must do, is my Egyptian Landship, which is presently stuck in construction...
