I was going to paint the lasses as an American unit at first. I was going to call them the "1st Volunteer Suffragettes." hint... hint...

They even have their own flag.... suffragette flag

But I decided that I wanted to do more than just one unit... so I moved them over to the Egyptians and I'm glad I did. I really like the uniform colors.

A new unit finally joins the Egyptians... Prussian mercenaries:

Not the greatest photo... again... too dark, but hey, it's not like it's the LPL or something here.

I've pretty much decided that these guys will also be the nucleus of an Austrian army apart from the Egyptians.

So up next is a steam tank from Ironclad, a couple more Princess characters and then we'll see if I can put together a group shot.

Doesn't look too dark to me. In fact, I was just thinking my LPL shots look too light to me.

Nice paintjobs. So if I understand correctly, people want something very much like these guys, but with skirts, from Hinterland, right??
