The new gun looks nice but why do so many sculptors not add a trunnion cap? Most of the artillery pieces available would jump the carriage if fired because there's nothing to hold the barrel down!  I think the Perry Twins are one of the few outfits who bother.

As the others have said brilliant painting; like the style and good colour choices as well. However the Cartridge box should be black leather not white (the other pouches are white though). Well done...looking forward to seeing more of your brushwork.

I deliberated about black cartridge pouches as that is how I thought they should be but I found two pics and someone elses painting that used white
