Looking for painting guide for Mutineer miniatures Bengal horse artillery

Hi Having just purchased Mutineers Bengal horse artilery crew, i cannot seem to find any guides to their facing colours or pictures in their Mutiny clobber. All the info i have found is for the full dress uniform. Can anybody help.  Cheers Craig.

Osprey has Bengal Horse Artillery in white* overalls and knee-length boots in the field, no facing colours to paint, by which I mean the collar and cuffs are the same colour as the rest of the uniform. If they're not wearing the overalls then according to the book they would be in laced blue jackets with red collars (it seems when they did wear these some batteries tore off the red collars for some reason). I don't think any of the Mutineer figures are wearing laced jackets, though.


*They call it "white" but it is more like a dusty khaki in the illustration.

The french book states white uniforms that would have been dyed khaki, so anything in between would be accurate I have seen some plates that show what looks like a white uniform, I have some photo's from the firepower museum showing an off white uniform, probably started out white but i can't find the damned things here is one of the covered cap.

this is what i do maybe not the best, I upload into photobucket, then copy the direct link below the photo in photobucket, open the post  click on the image button third one on the row above the smiley's then paste that link in between the two image brackets
