A Dark Future in my attic....
« on: February 10, 2010, 06:56:09 PM »
When I moved house I uncovered stuff I forgot I had which included loads of OLD GW stuff, RPG's and books.
Reading the Car Wars thread reminded me that I had a big box of Dark Future stuff ( mostly half converted die-cast stuff). In amongst it I found these two. The painting is a little poor and they could do with a make-over but I thought I'd share.

First is the KILLER QUEEN. I have no idea how long ago I painted it but the car is from 1990.

The next is "Major Jim" an Army Interceptor.

Very nice pops. Amazing what you find in your attic. When my folks sold the family pub I had a last sort out and found a box I thought I'd got shot of. It contained, 30 WD's from the late 80's, Rogue Trooper boxed game and Bloodbowl first edition boxed with my old elf team!

Anyway loving Freddie, anything else worth posting?

The painting isnt that bad!

The execution is fantastic too, those vehicles look like they drove straight out of Death Race 2000.

There's a new game out too. Warlands it's called. By abberant games.

They do conversion packs for the same scale. And they've got some resin vehicles too.

It's all new, so it's not that far yet.
