Chinese red spears help...

Hi

I have prepped and primed 20 red spears,

just wanted some inspiration on what colours to paint them

would they be random colours

could they have a uniformed theme

and what colour would you paint the head dresses?

as you can see need some help

I would vote for random colours, they're a crowd of peasants, not a military unit strictly speaking. For the head dress white and red would do. But I would allow other colours too, perhaps like black.

Have primed 10 of them too.

I think you are right,

I guess the colours for the tunics would be reds blues greens and beige colours

i was going to do off white trousers and black pumps for the shoes

I will do the headdresses as you suggest

I am actually quite looking forward to these

also have 10 dare to die and a chinese mortar all primed and ready too

then on to some buildings using matakishi's templates

those are really great models what range are they? they would fit quite nicely with my spears.
