For the record, I didn't start this thread, yet I'm somehow the focus of the ire because I made a joke - after being surprised by your reply - which incidently was quite funny in the delivery once the link was clicked.
I've been posting here for some time now, and I've never been insulting, nor disrespectful to any member. If you were insulted, you should have sent me a PM to address these issues, instead of calling me out in the middle of a thread.

I thought the first one was fine for the thread, and I'm sure there are some that like the second, too, even just for the chuckle.

So sausages are out?  How about these, then?:

Not very sporting to assume everyone here is boobephilic, but if you think this is a gentlemen's only club, think again.  I entered the thread expecting to see some great sculpts, and sure, they're good, but I didn't (and shouldn't) expect it to be a testosterone themed collection...  So I inject some estrogen into the mix.  Big deal.  I don't cover my eyes to your boob obsession, so don't gripe when I post the odd "sausage." You might want to consider that a more strongly gynophobic female might see the pics in this thread as a male would see the gugs, or that you might see the Kev's. I just wanted to "point" that out to the few homophobic chauvanists that might be lurking in here.  My two bits put in, I'll continue to  contribute to this thread as I find suitable (no more monstrous) pics from a woman's point of view.

No woman should be made to feel unwelcome in this hobby -- heaven knows you've got too few of us tolerant enough as it is.  I don't appreciate being insulted (being called "unsporting"), even if it was in jest (and I choose to assume it was just a poor jest).  To the real gentlemen of the thread who didn't comment about, and respected my choice of contribution, I apologize for this aside.  I also consider this issue closed and I will not reply to any taunts or accusations of being a "feminist" (which less than half the world views as necessarily amazonian in nature).  Nor will I tolerate being hounded on another thread, so be so advised and drop it here and now.  Maybe you meant no offense, but you did offend... not by the pictures, but by your post, Wolf.  If "sporting" is being tolerant, I am and you weren't.  If "sporting" is sparring, this is your well-deserved return punch, and I'm still "sporting," despite your dig.

Well put. I'm with you on this one.

If this is a thread about naked models then I figure anything goes. This is not a challenge...just a statement. All sculpts are welcome: Boys and Girls. Just like all folks are welcome: Boys and Girls.

[Dreamingleopard walks over to the fridge and gets out an armfull of beers...]

If this thread is about cultists in general, I direct the reader to these other threads as well:

If this thread is about scantily clad figures (not necessarily cultists) as the title of the thread implies, I would like some help finding other scantily clad male figures that might be considered "eye candy" from a female point of view. I've (d)evolved away from fantasy and into Call of Cthulhu (from Victorian era through to the thirties, so over-hyped superguns and swords (unless resculptable as something else) are not of interest to me (though they may be to someone else, so please post anyway).

Likewise, if it is about scantily clad cultists of either gender, which I took this thread to be, and which, in order to have this thread be unique from all the other cultist threads, I will continue to consider it to be until otherwise clarified by the thread originator.  For now, I contribute these:

http://studiomcvey.blogspot.com/2009/09/seraphine-le-roux.html  (female)
http://store.gamingetc.com/catalog/dd_miniature-dd_singles-against_the_giants/degenerate_cultist_of_orcus/37259 (male)
http://www.wizards.com/DnD/Article.aspx?x=dnd/mg/dod (Blood of Vol Fanatic) (male)

I will not be posting pics in this thread - only links with (gender label).  Don't click if you don't want to look.  I would consider it a courtesy if you wipe off any slobber before you post your mature reply. The human form of either gender, whether naked or not, is a thing of art, and as such, deserves respect above and beyond any carnal urges one might have.  I'm well past giggling at the statue of David or Venus.

[Dreamingleopard offers beers to those who posted support... ]

Please see the thread I've created entitled Realistic Sculpts here:  http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=17956.0

It's related, but it would have hyjacked this thread.

[Dreamingleopard pops open the two beers left, walks over to Wolf, profers him a beer, and sits down beside him, happily noting that some anonymous soul has washed the floor.]

Bring on the skinfest.

(P.S.  I agree about the gug jokes, btw.  I'm really sick of 'em.  Good monster concept, but too much potential for woman-bashing.)

The offer of free beer has me posting the following scantily clad-ness:

Seriously, that's a long, incoherent, post which I don't have the patience to follow, but  I *think*  I am still with the gist of your thinking.

I have sisters, I have a wife which whom I am loyal. Plenty of girlfriends to. I think of them all the time. But what 's the deal with a little female skin. We show minis with their willies winging often enough? Esp. considering the male/female ratio of this forum.

I've got the shapeshifter shaman and snake painted up.  They are outstanding.  I'll have to post them.  Really good sculpts.

Fair play DL, you have done some stunning research. You must spend a lot of time sourcing your minis.........

Great find. That sure is a cool looking mini.

I look forward to seeing them. Especially since the 'enlarged' image on the Mirliton site is still pretty small...

If you are one of those lucky SOB's who got his mits on the GOD-C  Cleopatra fig with the snake from Mega Miniatures, I envy you.  There were only 461 available for release before they broke the molds.  Check it out, here:  http://www.megaminis.com/0-MINI-MAG.htm

Thanks and yes, I do!  But I have an advantage... I'm recently retired, which means I know what used to be around in the Fantasy and Horror genre (so all I have to do is keep up with the latest releases), I have time and I'm very computer & Internet savvy.  I recognize most figs in these genres (but not the sci-fi fantasy genre yet).  Actually tracing the product numbers and packs can be a little tricky, though, if you don't recognize the work of the sculptor or can't see the bottom markings of the fig in a pic.  I'm getting better at recognizing the sculptors.  If a fig is in these genres and Grenadier, Partha, Citadel or Heritage, there's a good chance I can identify it correctly.  My current project is to put the defunct company's horror figs to pdf picture checklists for collecting, cross-referencing and tracing the codes as they are re-issued and tying sculptors' names to the fig.  I'm almost done with Grenadier, which is a huge undertaking, especially getting decent unpainted fig pics.
