Preparing SA figs
« on: April 01, 2010, 12:30:28 PM »
Got my parcel of the damned and now need to do something with it. How should I prepare the figs for paiting, standard undercoat?

hi binman,

after cleaning up any mold lines etc as you would with a metal mini,
it is well worth washing them with ordinary soap and water to remove any oily residue on the resin.

once dry undercoat and paint exactly as you would any other mini,

I tend to use an old tooth brush to amke sure i get in everywhere.  Nothing worse that some crack not holding the undercoat..
