Very nicely done there dear boy  :)

Is it me or do a couple of the figure poses look like they're drunk on parade (paticulary the chap at the front with the white beard)?

cheers

James

At the risk of being labelled a button counter, what puts me off these figures is the width of the crossbelts, it makes the figures look like they are children or are wearing 18th castoffs. I know that many sculptors make, the equipment too narrow, especially for the 18thC but these appear to have gone too far the other way. I say this whilst looking at a selection of contemporary prints and lithographs and at least one period photo. Just looks odd to me. It's a pity, as otherwise they seem nicely sculpted.

Another Highland officer, this time with a simplified tartan which I intend to use for the second unit. I have done a simple guide for this tartan in pdf if anybody wants a copy just let me know.
