Terminator 1 and Terminator 2: Judgment Day
« on: May 02, 2010, 11:51:48 PM »
Working on a terminator project. Would very much like to take more photographs later this week. Here's what's on the work bench so far. Terminator T800, T1000, Kyle Reese and a cop.

Neat! Gimme more!

I just watched Terminator 1 yesterday, will probably watch Terminator 2 today and 3 tomorrow, so i'm completely in the mood for this kind of thing. Where did you get those robots from?

Hahah, what a coincidence. Must be lucidity at work or something, because I was actually just thinking about whether or not I should convert my one Hasslefree cop into the liquid metal terminator.

Me too and they're fairly easy to paint up. Only thing that takes time is the ink and washes. Love your blog by the way.

Just a short, slightly off-topic thought: If the T-600 (Salvation) is not designed to be an infiltrator, why does it have a human skull shaped head? Doesn't make sense, does it?

Indeed, why would any pre T-800 terminators mimic humans?

Good question. I haven't seen Salvation but in T1 in the flash back, Rees explains that Skynet were developing humanoid robots but they were easy to spot until they created the T-800.

OK, haven't watched that one in a very long time. I was just watching Salvation yesterday, and the thougth struck me, that the T-1 and the Hydrobot (+ the various flying machines) are much more logic choices for eradicating humnanity than actual man-shaped robots with their propensity to keel over at the slightest push...

The Moto-terminators also seem a little weird, as civilization has broken down and fuel and vehicles are somewhat scarce.... They do, however, make good rides for human resistance heroes  ::)
