Suggestions for possible future LPL bonus round themes - list updated p14

I do have plenty of stuff in my lead mountain that has been there at least 20 years. But why stop there I think I can dig up stuff that is over 30 years old.

I've got some too... well I've got lumps of lead that were suppose to be medieval figures

Cool, I know a person or two that could help me get my hands on carved figures from the stone ages… Imagine the bonus points I could get!

That isn't fair! Even though I've been painting figures for over half my life I don't own anything nearly this old! Oldest I can do is some GW "Classic" guard (the metal cadains etc).

Maybe it could just be any out of production figure then...

Don't forget, you can easily buy lots of very quaint - and very old - primitive wargames figures on eBay for an absolute pittance. Just do a search under 25mm rather than 28mm and you will come up with huge numbers of old style figures from long vanished manufacturers... 

But no need to fret - no decisions will be taken until the next LPL which will not be for a long time yet!

Isn`t 2011 the 150 year anniversary of the (more or less active) start of the ACW with Fort Sumter in April 1861, so maybe a bonus round could be `dedicated` to it, like paint a unit in blue or gray and get 5 points, paint an actual ACW unit and get 10?

That's also a good idea, IMO, but I doubt many people here actually have many 'non-humans'. There's a lot of colonials, pulp and VSF gamers that wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. No problem with that, of course.

These are all great ideas, perhaps use them in the next LPL. I wanna enter next time!!!

I would quite seriously consider that a great idea. How well you paint nudes is to me very much a indication of your level as a painter.

Or how much your hand shakes while you're painting it!
