They - or at least most of them - look like Foundry Darkest Africa Zanzibaris to me, with some Foundry and possibly OG Pathans mixed in. I could be wrong though  :)

No, you are quite correct. Most of the pathans are Foundry DA and OG pathans plus some Bicorne (the kneeling figures). The Wazir of Pakora's army is mostly OG Crusades era Muslims and his armoured Guards are Gripping Beast Moorish infantry. Not sure of the origins of his sedan chair; I think it's Reaper.

The Raj's army are OG for the Madras Pioneers, the Bengal lancers and British Lancers and screw guns. Perry for the generals and highlanders (thanks to Sterling Moose!). Foundry for the Gurkhas. Bicorne figures for the Blandingshire Fusiliers. The elephant battery is a scratch build with one RAFM and one unknown elephant and a RAFM ACW Armstrong BLR.

That's a very imaginitive way to build up a NW Frontier army. I have more than enough Zanzibaris and a few Foundry Pathans knocking about somewhere, so putting a decent sized force together is feasible for very little extra expense  ;D

They are very well painted by the way and the game looks like it was fun!

A great looking game with heaps of character. It is good you can use all those different miniatures in a scenario.

I really must know more about the sedan chair - it is exactly what I've been after. Any more information please?

@GM: Thank you. I've really enjoyed building up these armies and there's still heaps in the leadpile to add (need more British infantry and Boers if I want to go to S. Africa after all...). And yes, you can build up a decent sized Pathan army quite quickly if you set your mind to it and look further afield. The friend who commanded the Wazir of Pakora's forces gave me some Bedouin figures because they are prone and he doesn't like prone figures, so they will join the Pathans.

Sadly I didn't have room to get my baggage column and field hospital onto the table!

@fsultana: the sedan chair is, I think, Reaper. I got it 2nd hand. It comes as one piece. The fellow riding in side is a long bearded old cove with a pet monkey by his foot. The aide alongside is a Call of Chthulu figure. I also have a sedan chair mounted on the back of a RAFM elephant. I'm not sure if the bearers are even the correct ones for the piece, but they worked, so I used them.
