Interesting, how do these scale with 28mm stuff? I'd love a bunch of 'Hulkbuster Ironman' figures to be used as Anti-Super infantry in a 'Necessary Evil' setting.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Had a quick google. Are these the random packs of 8 that come in vivid colours like plastic toy soldiers when we were kids?

Thats what my search turned up. I found a good link with close ups of the figs. Some damned good detail considering what they are, Cyclops is very impressive, as is Nick Fury. Here's the link, I've not embedded the image as it's pretty damned big if you show it at full size. You need it at full size to see the detail.

Anyone tried painting these?   I assume they are a bendy plastic, with all that implies.

No idea how they'll take plastic but the review I read said they were a hard plastic.

Cool, cheers Jim. So Nick Fury is going to be difficult to mix in but Hulkbuster Ironman should be good.

I have some but have not tried to paint them yet.  The plastic is not really soft or bendy, but not really hard either.  I believe they are harder then the pieces in Last Night on Earth if that helps.

I have seen them painted over on HCRealms.  They seem to paint up pretty good.  Size wise, The bigger guys will work, the human sized guys are too big.  Hulk, Thing, Rhino and Venom fit in pretty good with miniatures from other ranges.  Nick Fury, Captain America, Spider-Man and Cyclops are very tall and thin compared with other miniatures.  I find them more off then Heroclix in some cases.

Here is a blog showing their size versus the same character from clix.

definitely what wellender said!

ignore the human sized guys in almost all cases, but the larger characters are worth getting,

the plastic takes acrylic paint fine,

I have painted a few of them using GW primer and acrylic paints and they turn out fine (my mediocre painting skills not withstanding).

I defintely agree that the larger figures are more of a fit for 28-30mm than the "normal human" figures.

I'll take some pics alongside Supersytem and Clix models and upload them tomorrow.

Cheers.

Cool.  I just primered up the THING last night.  I gave the rest away to my nephew, as I felt they were too big to fit in.

I'll post it up if anyone's interested (after I paint it!)
