This is too much!

Nutter!

We're not worthy!

 lol lol lol

You do have to worry about someone's sanity when they even think about doing a project like this, never mind actually making such a superb job of it  :o

And your garage is far too tidy! Freak!

 ;)  lol

Bearing in mind some of the other stuff on the go at the moment, this has to be the best construction project I've ever seen.

Truly outstanding.

Damn, it just keeps getting better and better... the painted furniture and bits look awesome!

Noticed that this thread has hit 15,000+ views - we can't have that many non-stickied threads in the history of LAF to tick over to five digits! (for that matter, this thread has more views than all but ONE of the Workshop's stickied threads... wow.)

Can't wait to see in-game shots from BLAM and this monster's other outings! Bloody geography - there's entirely too much of it between me and the faint possibility of getting to BLAM... like an entire continent and a damn big ocean!

That is absolutely amazing! Any chance of getting some good hi-res photos of the game in action? If so, I'd love to put them in the 2nd edition of .45 Adventure.
I will definetly send you some photos when we run the game. It would be a great honor to be in the book that helped inspire this maddness.

I think there would be a few people who would argue that point. Including my wife and my brother. There is not a clear flat surface in the whole place. There is that much stuff you can't walk right round the table unless you move a load of stuff. The photo just seems to show the only clear area.

More pictures from Cardington Airship Sheds to keep us going till we get more of macgamers pictures. These are of Zepplin NT #7 (I think), and a couple of Airship industries efforts, The small one is a prototype of a stable lifter platform half tilt swival and half airship. The size of the shed is breath taking when inside it is in a poor state of repair witness the roof picture.

That peppered roof immediately reminded me of the after-effects of the test-fire of ball-bearings (or was it darts?) in the barn in the movie Black Sunday.

Black Sunday, a classic 1970s movie about a bomb on a blimp (sticking with the zeppelin connection  ;)) to be detonated over the SuperBowl.

With apologies for the drift off topic.  :)

Gamer Mac and pressure?

That's Mike Tyson versus Shirley Temple!

Do you mean that colin looks like Shirely Temple? Or that he likes to bite ears off?

Its looking fantastic, really good... I've seen it in the flesh, or at least in the aluminum skin! Once again the brothers have pulled out all the stops on this one. We're planning on testing it on Wednesday night before heading south- I can't wait!

Cheers
Andy

The Zeppelin is now finished. (Well enough to play on. There were a load of things we never finished or were not finished to the standard we had originally wanted)
First off I needed some boxes to protect it all during the trip to BLAM down in London.
First two

All four (The stencil idea was Oldschoolrebels)

A major test required was to see if it all fitted in my boot.

We have been trying to play test for a while and we managed it on the Wednesday night before we took the whole lot down to London on the Thursday.
Painted some more of the crew. I tried to finish the rest in the hotel on Thursday night

A few pictures of the action

Struggling to get a decent picture of the bridge

The captains cabin, Radio room and the brig, where the characters start the game.

At the start of the game all the rooms are covered over.

The PC first objective is to find their weapons in the store room

General overview of the passenger area.

Kitchen

Mess

Extra statue supplied by 6milphil

Cargo bay

Hanger area

Maintenance area

Pilot ready room

Overview of the tail

One of the PC’s ways of getting off the Zeppelin, Rocket packts

Via the landing pad

The whole test play went very well. A couple of tweeks were work out in the car on the way to London. After a 7 hour journey we arrived at BLAM to set up our first game on the Friday morning

I will post a report later on how the games went at BLAM.
