Faerie queen
« on: May 31, 2010, 09:54:57 AM »
Having posted a picture of an elven damsel last week, I thought I should reprise things with her scary step-mother:

The pic of this figure on the Foundry site has just about every paintpot in existence thrown at it, but as soon as I started cleaning it up, it struck me that it looked a little like Good Queen Bess herself, and I should paint accordingly. For wasn't Elizabeth herself almost heard to rouse her army at Tilbury with the cry: I know I have the body of a weak and feeble goblin; but I have the heart and stomach of an ogre - and an ogre of England too!

Well, maybe...!  ;)

She´s so cute! I could imagine converting her into a dwarven Madame Pompadour!

Great stuff!

Not gonna say what I would do with this mini according to my gaming habits, but I'm sure you can all imagine!  :)

Never liked the figure much, but you did a very good (and original) paintjob on her.  8)

Nothing wrong with a single-minded pursuit of a particular project! These figures I've posted recently are, of course, fuelled entirely by cheap eBay fancies and cast-offs from other LAFers! There'll be another half-finished project along in a minute, I'm sure...
