As Dewbakuk said, stay with it. Its a very impressive build and if a button counter has the temerity to criticise the size of the bricks laugh hysterically at them  while pointing out the tiny bits of spittle forming at the corner of their lips as they trumpet on (yes I have issues  ;))

It looks awesome,  definitely keep going with this and I don't think the bricks look out of scale.   You have to finish this as its massive amounts of inspiration.

for the very top of the palace i think im goin to use this textured wallpaper or perhaps it cud be used as tiles for a roof

here is an up to date photo of the palace as you can see i am using textured wallpaper and warhammer bits to create the detail of architecture.
