Interesting find from Aldi
« on: 08 August 2010, 04:46:26 AM »
I recently came across this toy at our local Aldi

The skeleton parts came encased in a block of soft plaster.  The parts don't fit together that well and there is some cleaning up to be done on some of the parts but it has potential for a terrain piece.

I originally bought it as a birthday present for my son but he wasn't that interested in making a massive mess chipping away at the plaster.

I saw these as well but did notice a join right down the center, including through the skulls, so gave them a miss.

The Triceratops one looked a bit odd too me as well.

A bit pricey for what they are, but could be useful, depending on how fussy u are.

A kid that doesn't want to make a giant mess that Dad would have to clean up? You have been criminally negligent in teaching your child that messes are fun and for other people to clean up! ;)
