That looks great already, mate.

It has just the right 'feel' for some fancy Victorian folly.

It has come together nicely with your collection of old 'bits' (hoarder, eh?

) and that roof will look just right when you have finished it.

Thinking of the roof, I reckon it would look great as nicely 'greened' bronze.
I will look lovely with the colours of your brickwork and the natural stone of the mesa.

I can see that being a centrepiece of New Victoria.

What did you make the roof outer coating from? Its very smooth and flexes into shape nicely. I agree with Mason, it has to be green

The roof itself is a four part resin cast of a single facet. The eighth master was made from MDF (hand cut) at uni over 13 years ago. The master was moulded, I then cast four which got stuck together as they were going to be the rear roof of a pleasure neff (I was even doing it back then to some extent) but it didn't get that far unfortunately. I'll cast this four part master after I've tidied it up somewhat

I was having a look on the net for images of lantern room mirrors but I'm not going to be able to make what they look like so I'm going to compromise and use a parabolic mirror instead with the led in the middle.
