It's not water tight  ;D  ;D

And the trouble we had with the lights anyway I certainly wouldn't want to entertain the idea of Champagne coursing through it  lol  lol

cheers

things out and erect buildings in the shape of a giant hoo-ha.

I can think of whole cities that resemble one and at least one Melbourne municipal government that fittingly uses the shape as it's corporate logo. Sadly they've rejigged it in recent years. The old one was an even better approximation, as in the former design the 'berry' shape sat above the 'leaf' shape but the new one, whilst diminished, will give you an idea.

They describe themselves as the 'City of Harmony' lending credence to the suggestion that all men seek the comfort of a return to the womb.

The Burj Kalifa. Tallest building in the world. I'm 6'5" so it gives you some sort of an idea of scale, the model is at 1:500...

Useless gaming scale, only things in that scale are a few odd Heller ships and some Herpa airliners.... OH!

It's all becoming clearer. Gulf State, oil, tall building, airliner, a man who uses the mask of a fox as his emblem. The prophecy is coming true..... I predict a man called Nostradamus will say things five hundred years ago.

Remember you heard it here first. ;)

Right then, it's not looking likely that I'll finish for Friday 11:59 but I'll keep going as I'm enjoying it  :D

The size and a figure for scale

Timbering detail, simplish but enough to look OK.

And another distance shot with timbering.

cheers

James

Speaking of giant hoo-haas:

I always wondered why nobody ever said anything but my uni's logo, but there's something odd going on there...

I hope you do finish it Jim! Looks great so far!

Wow, we should totally have a subcontest for "didn't finish on time for interesting reasons".

A shame that you probably won't be finished for the competition but it's still a build i'll be following, it's looking really impressive in that latest shot.  :)
