Well, it has been a long time and after the nudges and prods to get it finished I've finally made a start on doing just that  :D

It took me a while to find what I wanted for the top and the photos below should show what I mean.




There's still a bit more detailing and finishing off to do but the end is in sight  :o

Just for the record, it stands at 1005mm high (give or take a mil or two  ;D )

Better, more finished photos to follow soon  :)

Ok the masses will still need Mr Gates or Mr Branson to deliver on the promise of cheap space travel but that really is bloody marvellous and I'm not a fantasy fan.

Given the skills of Mr Bibbly and his capacity to take on such challenges, I think we can grateful that last years comp was not build something that looks like a wizard's sleeve'.  ;)
