Very hard to add to the comments already posted except to say these are excellent, and would do any wargames table a favour by being on it. Your finish and basing style are superb and I would love to see the armies laid out for battle, although I would probably have to go and lie down afterwards. Works of art!!!!!!

This is my favorite era of Ancient warfare.  Two well matched armies (making for excellent wargaming), each with nice units making painting them pure fun.

As usual it is a joy to view your mini's.  Fantastic work on the really tough stuff... skin, shields, horses, armor...

Damn, I wish you were my next door neighbor because I would love to have the opportunity to play with these two magnificent armies!

For the mold lines I use a scalpel like this one:



This scalpel is very sharp and you can remove the mold lines very easy. The problem is, after one or two days it is getting blunt and you have to get a new one.

For priming, I use Games Workshop spray-paint. It is very expensive, but has a nice slight rough surface.
