This doesn't deserve praise after a thread title like that but it does look brilliant.

I'll second the shout for using real claws or making some like them in putty. Painted with rivets they would really look the part.

GM, I have some spare GW Defiler Claws if you want them? Not as satisfying as making your own but certainly easier.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Just a wee tip. If you do make moulds for shields, remember to reverse any writing you put on it!!

D'oh indeed! Although, modern medical response vehicles tend to have it mirrored as well.

Still, a pity for all the work you put into it.

Crabs pee out of their EYES! 100% unsubstantiated fact!

What about eye mounted acid nozzles...?

That explains the Dearth of Crab based super heroes and also why Crabs haven't developed Opticians...

Some species of crabs have flipper like flaps on the rear legs, perhaps a prop on the last ones would look nice? (there are a few lego ones that might work)

You can't see them very well at the moment but the card covering the body has loads of rivets impressed into it. When it is painted they are a lot easier to see.

Looking good! The only problem I can see your going to have is filling in the joints.

I don't know if its any help now but this is how I do it....

Holding the knife in place, turn the plastic pipe under the blade and cut a groove into the pipe.As opposed to cutting all the way through the pipe just snap it off. This will give a cleaner end....

Cut two rough squares out of thin plastic card bigger than the diameter of the pipe.

Glue both squares to either end of the pipe and leave it to set.

Once its glued, rough cut away the spare plastic card.

After thats done, use a modeling file to smooth away any jaggy corners and hey presto!
