Kryomek Swat From Scotia
« on: 18 January 2011, 04:34:35 PM »
Hey everyone.

I don’t know if this should go in the Bazaar or here (feel free to move it)

Does anyone know what’s in the Nexus Swat Team packs 'V', 'VI' and 'VII' available from Scotia Grendel?

V:   http://www.scotiagrendel.com/Products/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_112_116&products_id=1220
VI:  http://www.scotiagrendel.com/Products/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_112_116&products_id=1221
VII: http://www.scotiagrendel.com/Products/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_112_116&products_id=1222

I bought one of each of the other packs for a project that I’m doing but chickened out of buying these ones blind.

Cheers

Marx

I seem to remember getting a set of those, too. IIRC, they are the same sculpting quality, but are armed with a variety of small firearms (MPs/SMGs, automatic pistols) in various combinations, some with a single combat knife. This is in contrast to the "low code" packs which have heavier weapons (assault rifles and the like).

So you won't do wrong, especially if you want to go for variety. I did so for my Enclave, and am quite happy with it (although I still haven't finished all of the figures).

I think that Stuff of Legends site has a breakdown of the pack contents, worth checking there.

But WC is pretty dead on I seem to recall.

Cheers guys.

Im doing a sort of Enclave styled force for a necromunda campain that im running.

Really Im just after more figs with rifles and smgs. When I saw the few figs that I had from those packs they were in that slighly odd kung-fu duel-weilding pistol pose. I might order some now.

On a side note, does anyone have any Swat models with rifes or smgs for sale or going spare?

Thanks again

Marx.

Well, I think that sums it up. They ARE different in their poses from the "stiffer" ones in the low-number packs.

I think I have some doubles, although I am not sure I have them here in the UK. I'll check, and would be prepared to swap for either the "pistoleros" if you don't like those, or figures that could be used in a Modern setting (i.e. later James Bond/CoD: Black Ops/etc.).
