finished Kindernact Wagon!
« on: September 18, 2007, 05:59:08 PM »
wow, this thing was a bear...I guess I am used to painting single figures or small units but this took more hours than I thought it would. 4 bulls, 3 priests,4 kids, and a wagon!

Very enjoyable overall..let me know what you all think!

Very nice painting, I like your chosen color scheme and the variety on the oxen. The wagon looks a bit strange constructionwise, but that may be due to the designer's intention?! I would have thought the front axle attached under the wagon, but I havn't seen the thing in real, so ...

Anyway, great painting!

very nicely done.  I like the rocking rickety look from the wagon not being flat on the ground.  Are those vampire kids?

Great job Tbroadwater. Your painted photo does a lot more for the figure than West Wind's image.

Where did you find it ?

It is from West Wind's Gothic Horror range.

thank you all for the feeback!!! The axle might be off it was hard to tell, it did have a notch in the support that runs under the chair section and the axle seems to fits in there. I was never quite sure while I was assembling it hahah...

Nice one Todd :) I really like the oxen, greta blnding on them :)   Now I feel inspired to have a go at mine, it still lies in its packaging somewhere buried deep in the lead mountain

As the High Priest of the Golden Arches would say: "I'm lovin' it"...
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

Great job with the painting there, broadwater. Mine did however not turn out that tilted towards the front. I can't rember if I converted it slightly.

Ahhh! It's frightening me! Reminds me of the Childcatcher from "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!" Even though that is a family film, as a little kid that fellow terrified me.

Lollipops! Lollipops!

Great model you have there. Really impressive. But I don't like it, mummy. Make it go away.

Plynkes - You are not kidding there, I was also petrified of him. Especially when he looks through the toy shop window.
