Really coming together nicely.  Should be quite colorful by the time your finish.

Thanks, syrinx0! It will most definitely be nothing if not colorful. Glad you like it!

Thanks, Little Odo. I am delighted you like the Moon. I must admit I am pretty pleased with how it turned out myself.

This will be really cool, the moon reminds me the suns from Teletubbies Darkwave (this video is full nightmare fuel, even those who do not find regular teletubbies creepy  lol ):

I was thinking it was Disney, if done by Tim Burton and the Addams family but that video is way better!  ;)

The last of  foreground Mushroom has been fabricated & await paint. While there is still a LOT of work to be done before the stage is finished, you can now get a pretty good idea what the finished stage will look like:

Until whenever.

Great work! Awesome to see it all coming together! Did you have a vision of what you wanted from the outset or kind of improvise things as you went along?
I have a YouTube and so can you!

Thanks for the kind reply, Frugalmax. I am glad you like the post.
I had a very basic idea what I wanted & improvised as I went along. This my usual approach to large pieces.
There are other stages & gaming boards that I would love to do, but lack the space for & the opportunity to use them.

The stage is basically finished. Like most large terrain/display pieces it will never be totally complete; i.e., there will always be some little detail to add or some little touch up to be done, but for now it is finished;

AND the first models on stage:

Until next time.
