Mind if I ask how you did it? I've got some gobbos coming in the post that I don't want to paint green...

It's very basic really. I start off with a "brown green" and then give it a dash of wash. Then I gradually mix from from brown green to skin (pinkish variant).

Did a few more of the old plastic horrors:

Eat some arrows!

Detail.. showing that no one's perfect. (well at least I ain't). But let's face it - painting these old one pose plastics isn't that exciting.

VERY NICELY DONE...especially considering what you had to work with. The Mushrooms in the background are UBERCOOL...you can't have Goblins without BIG mushrooms

If I was doing a unit of gobbos I would go crazy with the unit filler blocks. That is, things that are not goblins but fill the space of a goblin. Big mushrooms etc. Ive seen it done alot and looks really cool. Plus then you get more unit coverage, so in effect more goblin.

Lovely pj on those Ramshackle Orcs. I really like the Ramshackle Orcs but you've made 'em look even better.

So, its here you are hiding  ;)

Great stuff going on here. The goblins looks great and unitfillers looks promising.

Not that familiar with Ramshackle's stuff but must saw that these Orcs looks sweet.

Cheers

You've made those unipose archers look good!

Are those unitfiller mushrooms the grendel ones?

Aye! Vikotnik threw them at me. I think the "alive" ones are very nice and weird for fillers. The regular ones are less interesting as unit fillers but still nice on a large scale terrain wise (like the VSF table jonas and I did last year).

Still working on a mounted shaman / goblin king... Cannot decide whether to mount it on a base or not?

What do you think?

That is VERY COOL looking...it has a Dark Crystal feel to it. The saddle cloth thingy is TERRIFIC; AND I LOVE all the gear the Guy is dragging along with him. Keep up the FINE WORK!

Nice job on everything. I love the goblin king and his 'ride'; very nicely done! I've got a small horde of those old plastic goblins hanging around someplace, I hope that I can get them to look as good as yours whenever I decide to tackle them.
