I don't disagree, and that's what most people are content to let happen if they lose interest halfway through.

But this particular person (I forget who it was now) was quite insistent that they no longer wished to compete - and as there was nothing in the rules about it (and still isn't), I had to go with their wishes.

However, now you've reminded me, I shall add a rule to the effect that once in, you can't withdraw - your most recently supplied team will run through to the end of the league. All competitors and would-be competitors, please take note!

In the LPL4 we had another withdraw, but with a replacement. Though I have to say, it doesn't make it easier. So I'm with Richard, no withdraw at all.

Have you ever discussed a maximum number of entries, like what they have over @ Steve Dean's?

Just mailed my entry for round 1!
Maybe stretching a little with the theme, but it is historically correct(ish) and improvisation with the models at hand was needed ...  ;)

Got one model left to finish for my first round entry, and my wife gives me the evil eye whenever I approach the stairs to the cellar (where I paint). I'm not sure I'll be able to finish my entry. =( The last model i finished in the team turned out a bit rushed and crap, due to paint induced matrimonial stress.

So, IF I finish round 1 in time I'll have to enter some old hat (new photos though, and I guess a new audience too) for a few rounds until I have a new entry finished. Got a half finished team ready, and a few other candidates primed and ready for paint.

Participating or not, I'm really pumped about the LPL5 - no doubt! It's an awesome thing on an awesome forum and I'm very grateful you're spending so much personal time on administrating this, Captain & Ray.
