I know, I know, you can never keep the natives happy, BUT what's on the docket next?  and is there an flag bearer planned for the provincials?  I've never done a 28mm flag and I'm itching to.  :)

My Provincials arrived two days ago.  My wife was knitting last night, so I sat down beside her to clean up the models before I primed them, I had real trouble trying to find a mold line to remove.  Just fantastic work all around and full of character.

I really want to paint them as Massachusetts men, but I'm liking the colors of the Jersey boys.  I might have to fold and betray my New England tendencies for some flashier models on the table.

Keep up the great work!

Are the Uniform colours not just the same?

It's the gaiters, which are quite prominent, and the hat trim that are different.  And they don't have the cool Boston accents.  :)

I've painted the Soldiers Free Provincial as a soldier of the Virginia Regiment. The focus isn't all it could be I'm afraid  ::)

This is another chap I've painted up as a soldier in the Virginia Regiment.
Actually, this one doesn't appear in any of the recently released Provincials packs, he's one I sculpted as a special "Soldiers Free" giveaway.

I've decided to add to the books, rules, flags and "other stuff" on the site as well as my little chaps, with some good quality buildings etc from other manufacturers. As an extra incentive to buy them from us, there'll be special limited release figures to accompany the larger items - free of course. I've added a new page to the website titled "The Period Setting", which will give more details.

Here's the first one I've added to the online shop, the Block House by Frontline Wargaming:

There's also a deal available which adds a pack of Provincials with light equipment and an extra Soldiers Free character to make up a little eight man unit to garrison the block house.  :)

Our original 3 "Soldiers Free" Mohawk warriors, stocks of which became exhausted several months ago, are now back in stock. 1 "Soldiers Free" goes out with each order of 4 or more packs, and with orders of books or rules. Drop us an e-mail if there's a particular figure you wanted with an order.
 :)
Here's one of them:

lovely work on those Provs Lance. I'll have to pick your brains when i get round to painting mine (well, yours, but you know what i mean)
"Ho, ho, ho! Well, if it isn't fat stinking billy goat Billy Boy in poison! How art thou, thou globby bottle of cheap, stinking chip oil? Come and get one in the yarbles, if ya have any yarbles, you eunuch jelly thou!"
