What about the creepshow & zombies ate her brain, the meteors back catalogue - thee cramps have been mentioned, necromantix do some suitable stuff, black Rose phantoms too do stuff all of course in the psychobilly vein. Rob zombie is a must & movie sound tracks.

If you want something more atmospheric try the Japanese band Mono, guitar driven instrumental rock, might fit the bill.

Otherwise there are a lot of nice suggestions here, especially the soundtracks (never realised the Return Of The Living Dead soundtrack was so cool!) and Evil Nine
