Some rather light artillery.

I kitbashed together some mortars for my frenchies using spare parts from the Victrix British artillery box and some Victrix Frenchmen.

A really easy convertion that was fun to model and paint.  :)

Beautiful conversion work  :-*

It's nice to see painting up the the standard of a great conversion also.

Well done!

It was some time now since I last painted some Napoleonic but here are a new unit.

33e Regiment d`infanterie
More pictures at: http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.se/2013/06/33e-regiment-dinfanterie.html

I got some spare minatures from the Warlord frenchy box and with the addition of an command element from Victrix and some Hussar heads from Perrys I got a small unit in Black Powder terms.

When I found the picture reference for an unit dressed in white and purple I knew I "needed" one.
From the moment I first saw the Warlord box i thought that these could look sharp in white uniforms and black boots and I finnaly got around to create such an unit.

Rule wise maybe I should treat them as an small line or maybe even an veteran unit but with some bonus for movement, maybe the drilled special rule will be perfect.

Great looking army.

I just caught the thread so excuse me for bringing up stuff on the first page. I would put my vote in for skirmish/1:1 figs for the Perry's original Foundry line. Still available. Much character and pose variety, especially if you want figs in other than march attack. and some of the vignettes they did were terrific. And they are not the stiff poses of the current line(and that way on purpose I assume and understand why).

My friend Tobias and I fought a small Napoleonic battle of Black Powder last weekend.
A really nice game and with the result hanging on the last one or two stamina point of damage to decide the whole outcome of the game.

It felt really good to dust of my Frenchies and bring them to battle once more. Hope to have more of this.  :D
