OK, apologies for the poor photos - very rusty...

First up, a hillock - I wanted something to break up the flat surface a bit, and did a small ridge line, with a worn path down the middle. I think the grass needs to be a bit thicker and may add some more bushes.

The usual 'mini-disc' recess allows various bits to be added - a tree, the gibbet and so on.

In this instance it's the next item - a chicken coop. A small cardboard piece from Petite Properties 1/48 dolls house range. Again, I think it needs a touch up, bit more grey weathering - it's been a long time. The chicken is from Mega-Minis if memory serves, one of those things that has been kicking around for ever it seems.

And finally, a small add on for the houses, a little garden plot, cabbages and some sickly looking herbs. I did toy with doing a climbing frame of something, but thought it might be a little anachronistic. The wattle fencing is from eBay and is designed for railway layouts, but I reckon it does ok for 28mm. A stray bit of bush in the corner, and escaping out the other side to help hide a dodgy join.

anyhoo, hopefully there will be another update within a year this time  lol  windows have been ordered from 4ground with the intention of starting to paint the manor house....

In the last year, not too much to be honest.
I have made small additions to my Old West town of Upsheet Creek:

.....and a few small bits have been added to my Strange Aeons project:

Other than that it has mostly been messing around with greenstuff that has kept me out of trouble.

Well, say it is high time Mason went and got himself in some sort of modeling trouble so we can all ooh and awe at.  Yes?

Like your latest bits, by the way - the coop and cabbage (maybe a name for an Inn?).   ::)

halfway through tiling the roof of the manor house and the tiles I ordered knowing I was running low are the wrong bloody ones!

I was so getting in the zone doing the tiling, feel a bit out of sorts now that's fallen flat  ;D ;D ;D

Just go the Photobucket route, mate.
The ads can be a bit of a pain but it is free and easy.

tiling in progress (see, doing actual things still)

quite chuffed with the wall sundial, although now I kind of think I should have done it as a detachable thing, so I could entertain my other thought of a canon emplacement up there for the fortified manor house vibe... anyway...

that's when I ran out of tiles....

Lovely design on that building.
Very nice indeed.
 :-* :-*

I would be pretty miffed too, as you have done a cracking job on those tiles.
