Looks pretty nice. It is roughly $70AUD so definitely not on the shopping list. For that price I could build one my self :/

If one notices, the walls and gates appear to be on their own stands and the interior is a separate floor.  This is very useful for combine multiple sets.  Personally, I love this piece and will be getting a least two for various horror and Mordheim uses.

You know for once I don't think the GW obsession with skulls is out of place here. I think it's quite subdued for them, and works well. I like the piece.

They could have had twice as many and still would have been outdone by some real life ossuaries.

That is actually rather good.  I think that perhaps it is rather too ornate or 'high Gothic' to fit in with my own cemetery, but still very nice all the same!

Okay, but I want something more "rustic" - think failing small town/large village style.

Gracias,

Glenn

Well, your image is of the inside; I suspect it's a little less so on the exterior. ;->=

I think they're a BIT overdone, but perhaps apropos of the eccentrics I suggest to Glenn, below.

Understood, but to me, it looks almost like a family's private section of just such a small village yard.

Wow! Only $41.25US; you, Christian, my brother in Oz, are getting reamed!

Plynkes image reminded me that there is a similar chapel here in Portugal!
well... actually it's even worse

The place is called "Capela dos Ossos" and it's in Évora
it was built by GW sculptors during warhammer's 2nd edition!  :D

I have no problem with the skulls built into the main gate but I do think there are a few too many ranked on the fences.  From what I can see, though, they are simply stuck between the uprights rather than being impaled on them.  If that's the case, a few minutes with a sharp knife and a file and you can get rid of as many as you like.  I love the High Gothic look of the vaults.  With a second kit, they could be used as individual scenic pieces.

Price-wise, here in Canada it will retail for $49.50 which is relatively reasonable.  My problem is that the Canadian dollar has been on par or better than the US dollar for months now and looks to continue to be for a while yet but do retail prices ever reflect that? Of course not, that would cut into profits! And I'm not just talking GW here, it's everything marked with Canadian and American prices.  We're still paying several dollars more on average.  How long does the balance have to stay in our favour before prices finally equalize and we get our fair shakes?

I meant to mention that in this part of the forum. I think it's a superb piece of kit!
