VBCW - The Archenfield Amateur Athletics Association
« on: 05 August 2011, 03:52:51 PM »
Hi folks,

I had a few figures left over from doing those Blackshorts - enough to knock up a unit for the Anglican League. As most of them are wearing shorts, I thought I'd do a unit of sportsmen, named the Archenfield Amateur Athletics Association.

Very nice, but redshirts in an Anglican athletic association?

Shouldn't it be white running vests? (optional horizontal red band)

You should add the Lead Adventure Miniatures Plynkes figure to this group. He's wearing shorts and he has a cricket bat and a soccer ball...

Thanks chums!

fastolfrus - Yeah I nearly went with white, but I'm a lazy painter who makes great use of Quickshade, which really messes up whites (and I can't be bothered to highlight!), so I went with a colourful red.

Heldrak - *smacks forehead* of course! It's obvious when you think of it. Sadly my Plynkes figure has already been employed as the political officer for my Blackshorts (minus the football)
