Small D-day board

Hi, I've just noticed I never shared my modular D-day terrainboards I started several years ago! The boards are still in the same condition as in the old pictures and are waiting to be finished. The board exists out of 2 beach boards and 2 fortified dune boards each measuring 50cm x 50cm. These boards were intended to be used in a 20mm WWII game.

it looks very good (for an unpainted start ^^), but I like to know something.

Isn't the slope around the bunkers a bit steep? I would think, that sooner or later some GIs should be positioned there. Also the horizontal gaps between the slopes look very small, too, maybe there is no positioning either.

So ... I guess maybe because I do not know the miniatures or some other rule-relevant stuff ... have You used this board already?

The board will be used for 1/72 small scale battles (100 americans versus 35 germans or so). The boards are still wip and I will put some papier maché on them to reduce th angle of the slopes to were it's possible for a miniature based on €0,01 can stand.

Nope I haven't used the board already.
