All Things Zombie, photo heavy
« on: August 12, 2011, 08:54:05 PM »
A while back the gaming club I'm a member of had our annual gaming event and I decided to share some photos of our All Things Zombie setup that we travel around a bit with. This year we had 11 people play at the same time, divided up in gangs of two or three people in each. The gangs consist of everything between Survivalists, Rastas, Russian Mob and the all time favourite gang of small children (mostly from Hasselfree) with guns who managed to be the only survivors this time around.

I had better get my A$$ in gear.  I have been working my ATZ project for over a year and do not have any terrain completed yet.  Looking good.  How well did the rules work with that many undead wandering around?  I am wondering because it seems from what I have read that the play can become a bit saturated as you add more and more zeds.

zizi666: I think that most of the building are from Ainsty but it's a long time ago they were bought so I'm not completely sure.

snitcythedog: The rules works OK but as you said it becomes a bit saturated. We usually start with 50-70 zeds on the table and end up with up towards 150-200. We have modified the rules quite a lot to make it flow a bit better so the players doesn't get bored waiting for their turn.

Most of the roofs are removable and all of those houses have some form or furniture and other accessories.

Looks like it was a fun game. I love zombie games. So much mayhem, at least when I play them.  ::)

Cool table with nice looking terrain.

Please tell me more about the fuel station, or the fuel pumps specifically.
Are they scratch built, resin parts, or...? Do you have a close-up of it?

Cheers

They are made of resin I think but I have no idea where we got them from. I found one picture of them but if you want more I'll try to take some photos next time I'm down at the club.

@infelix:
Thanks, that picture gives me a pretty good idea of what it looks like.
It looks like it could be from Ainsty Castings.

I'm contemplating building my own gas station and I'm trying to evaluate what's on the market.
Ideally I could just find some fuel pumps and not a complete set.

Besides Ainsty there are no real alternatives, unless I have missed something?
I know Westwind make some, but I have yet to see them on picture...
Miniature Building Authority have a very over-priced piece too. Add to that overseas shipping.
