I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Where would he get the 1:24 scale zombies? Probably would not hurt to suggest that he do a Pulp 1950's photo album. This artist, Michael Paul Smith, makes architectural models and museum displays, among other things. Take a look at more of his work here, including interior models on page 16:
