Great painting on a great mini. Skintones and shading are top.

I love how these old figures are content to rely on scale for their effect, rather than being sheathed in steroidal muscle.

To my shame I hadn't noticed this topic before, so I went through all 33 pages. All really excellent - except for the few missing pics in the upper twenties. ;) It's a huge inspiration for my own fantasy project, especially in reminding me that the LAM Breugelberg minis exist...

Gorgeous work on the giant and the rest of the thread. I agree those old sculpts are very colourful and the style is wonderful

Splendid paintjob on that giant! Love that guy. By coincidence I started painting my own casting of him earlier this year (and he's joined the hordes of the half-painted).
