Greetings Gentlemen, here is the next unit to join my French Gaslight force.

Please welcome "The Flying Balzacs" with their world famous Balzacs Aerial Risque. Featuring the that damsel of the aether Madame Kikia Balzac and her erstwhile chaperone and husband - Claude Balzac - Creator and pilot of the meta-clockwork ornithopter "The Red Pecker".

The idea behind Balzacs' Aerial Risque is that they are a non-armed, non-fighting support unit. Their role is to fly low over opposing troops. Kikia Balzac then performs her Aerial Risque with her famous catchcry "Baps for the Lads!".

Troops watching this aetherbourne display of rubinesque female parts are distracted and stop where they are in the hope of catching an eyeful.

The ornithopter is made from the left over parts of a Revel Albertross model that was used for the Aeroneff. There are a few extra bits and pieces (like the nose) that came from my bits box. The wings were pretty simple: Plasticard and plastic rod. The bits on the fuselarge where the wings attach are from a plastic GW heavy bolter (for some reason I have a lot of these). The nose is a brass cone from a very old ceiling lamp. The pilot is grennstuff and the lady is from Eureka.
