I'll try and make the column more ruined Fram. Mason, the first one was done in a couple of hours on Sunday morning. The rest I'll do during my lunch breaks.

Anyway, two down, two to go.....

Please excuse the pen marks. This was an attempt to get the proportions better! This ones supposed to be this....

Cheers for the comments guys!!

Are you using liquid greenstuff, just the normal type or a mix of both?

Just the normal stuff Jim. Can you actually sculpt with the liquid stuff? I'll need to try it!

These friezes are staggeringly incredible.  :-*

I tried to find some reference images which may or may not help:

Image doesn't like being hotlinked (this one is great because it has a similar pedastal to Nelson's Column).

Gigantic image

Another pretty big image

That's great Fram, thanks for those pictures! I've tried to make it a bit more ruined and cut it down a bit....

Hopefully that's better. I've also nearly finished the reliefs. I made an arse of the last one so I'll need to start it again(I spilt superglue over it) but the third ones finished at least..

That ones supposed to be this...

Cheers guys!!

Good stuff all round Andy  :-*

Looking at those reliefs it shouldn't be too hard to etch them into acrylic (the original ones), bit late now I know but I've only just thought of it  ::)

Actually, on second thoughts, yours are better as they have been hand done  8)

cheers

The workmanship here is startling  :o Really really impressive. The rest of us mere mortals can only gawp.

Can't wait to see it in it's gloriously ruined state!

Cheers

Impressive project! You are certainly using your lunchbreaks to good effect!
