This is easily going to be one of the most detailed bits of scenery anyone's ever done. There's no way anyone will ever mistake it for any other monument!

I agree. It's the best miniature rendition of the Arc de Triomphe I have ever seen.. Stellar work Andy.

lol lol Now that would take a LOT of sculpting to do properly!!

It's been a really sloooowww day at work so far. Waiting for other people is a pain in the arse, but at least it let's me do stuff. Un-related work stuff :D....

That's only one side done.

Keep it coming! Any news on casting of Big Ben BTW?

No. I haven't heard anymore progress yet. I know Andy was going to try and have it done for salute, but that's less than a week away (I think ???)

Holy frilly column-topping bits, Batman!

You have, as has been mentioned repeatedly, disgusting amounts of talent. Can't wait to see this finished.

I find myself, frustratingly, putting finger prints on little bits of sculpting that I'm happy with!! I really struggle to be patient with this green stuff. So to give me something to do while bits of putty are curing, I've been using my left over bits of putty for this...

It's supposed to be one of these..

I've still got a bit to do on the lions left side, but I'll try and get this finished along with the column.

this may be cheating, but Fenris do some lion statues in that style... by a strange coincidence I do have 4 for them... but that's as far as that idea got...  lol

Now your just taking the piss  ::) lol

Cracking work Andy  :-*

Have you tried Pro-create, it's the grey stuff that a lot of sculptors are using now and I've tried it and think its better than green stuff.

cheers

They both look great. How are you going to make enough to go round the column?

I would guess he's going to cast that one? If Andy does that, he can even break and damage some more easily.

The bassreliefs you've done are freakin awesome!
Agree with Hammers, best miniature rendition of Tour Eiffel ever. Keep going! :D
