I will see Rev. Horton Heat (http://www.reverendhortonheat.com/) and The Monsters (http://www.voodoorhythm.com/Monsters.html)  both next week !!! I am so curious about it.



Horton Heat puts on a GREAT show!  I think his shows and Unknown Hinson's shows are probably some of the most fun you can have with most of your clothes on!

The artist Link Wray is considered the Godfather of Heavy Metal.  His band called the Raymen put out some really cool rockabilly hits.  He even has one called "The Shadow Knows . . ."

I really like "Inepsy". It's an (punkish) Rock'n'Roll Band from Canada makiing real good Music themed on postapocalyptic stuff.

Try looking for the soundtrack to the film Atomic Cafe, I have it on vinyl somewhere. Great selection of atomic themed tunes and some scary audio of Kermit Beehan describing dropping the bomb on Nagasaki.

And since we are doing modern retro-pop, a little something from Mexico. Not their best work but the Ultrasonicas were  great little band.
