Isn’t this the Cold War minis list?
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

The board's for discussion of historical events up to the year 2000, and up until the present where talk is kept to the miniatures themselves without delving into any current conflicts.

Of course the LAV III went into service in 1999, and the vehicle which its based on has been in service since 1972, so that should fit into the "before 2000" criteria.

If you're looking for an armoured car for your SWAT or Armed Response Units, Special Artizan Service Miniatures have just come out with a Lenco BearCat in 1/50th.

1/43rd scale kits that may be useful if there's no other options (people use 1/43rd for parked cars for instance).

I've not ordered them. It was just posted over on another forum. Presumably you can buy them from other retailers.

I'll have to give a shoutout (again) to SASM, who have released a whole range of stowage which will work great for modern vehicles. Its pretty comprehensive.

Under fire minatures has released some 28mm late 70s/ early 80s U.S. Army.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
