The board's for discussion of historical events up to the year 2000, and up until the present where talk is kept to the miniatures themselves without delving into any current conflicts.

Of course the LAV III went into service in 1999, and the vehicle which its based on has been in service since 1972, so that should fit into the "before 2000" criteria.

I'll have to give a shoutout (again) to SASM, who have released a whole range of stowage which will work great for modern vehicles. Its pretty comprehensive.

Under fire minatures has released some 28mm late 70s/ early 80s U.S. Army.

Polish Front Miniatures print various models, both under license and their own designs. They have a excellent Polish People's Army range at the platoon level with very good number of poses. They also offer a wide range of vehicles, including the famous SKOT-2 wheeled APC. The range seems to go from 15-28 mm. For international customers their website is:

However, yesterday I discovered their Polish website with a far larger range, including Danish and German models plus others, including several ultra-moderns. Upon request, the owner confirmed that they would sent to non-Polish customers/countries from that platform, too. The website would need a fix to accept such countries in the address form and add PayPal to payment choices. The Polish webshop can be found here:

Note: The Polish shop doesn't yet offer an English language choice, but "sklep" means "shop" and the rest is pretty easily understandable and text can always be machine-translated. Saw those a little while ago. Fingers crossed they will do an OT-62 TOPAS 2AP at some point. I'd really like to field some Polish 'marines'.
