Terrain tile

Managed to get my first ever terrain tile finished (need my new compressor to arrive before I can finish the trees.)

As you can see my camera can't handle wide shots, or at least I haven't figured out how to take wide shots with it!
Need to get my large light tent out at some stage (and find space to set it up!) as the minis are totaly washed out by the light.

The terrain piece looks TERRIFIC; I love the way the road winds between the hills. It goes well with your LOVELY minis. VERY WELL DONE!

The second tile will attach to the grass side of the board, adding a board to a hill side wouldn't be that difficult as the hills final shape is made with B=Q filler as per the examples shown on this board (I lurk and I study.)

The leaf litter was old tea leaves (proper ones) crushed up with the twig bits left in as well as mixed herbs and parsley.  the dark soil underneath is just woodland scenics fine turf soil.

The road is mig pigment dark mud over the top of woodland scenics fine turf soil.
