Napoleonic Black Powder - British landing at Kolberg

In December/January we started a small campaign within the team with fictitious background.
The scenario ist located at the beginning of the Prussian uprising against Napoleon.
The British intend to support this by landing an army at the prussian city "Kolberg".

The city and port of Kolberg with the fortress on the left side:




The British lead the landing through a strong bombardment.
The strong fire of five ships of the line focuses on the harbor fortress, which is also completely destroyed.


The French defenders get their positions:


The first British troops attempt to land with medium and small boats in the harbor.



An rapidly formed Irish battalion begin the attack after the first Irish battalion was driven back into the harbor.
With the support of naval gunfire and a successful attack on the church, the French lines broke.




Italian troops be smashed by british artillery and musket fire from the landingship:




Entry of the victorious British troops in Kolberg and a euphoric welcome to the liberators ... even if the French side sees it differently  ;)

I also really liked the castle which must be useful for all sorts of scenarios.
