Stormtroopers & Boba Fett
« on: 14 January 2012, 03:29:28 PM »
Did these not long ago for a client. A lot of hassle to put together but the end result is pleasing enough. The stormtroopers are somewhat quicker paint jobs than Fett's (they are predominantly white after all).

I really like those clean smooth whites on the stormtroopers.

Those are really fantastic.  Fett looks like he stepped out of the movies.

Excellent.  :-* 8) I have a set of these Knight Models as well and I agree that they are quite fiddly to put together.  The antenna on Boba's helmet and the posing of the stormtrooper arms were the worst but overall the models are just top drawer.  You really nailed the colours on these.  Boba's backpack should be blue and yellow (I had to find reference photos) but I really like your take on it. I think it looks better in the green anyway.

Had a bit of a mare trying to find a definitive colour scheme for Fett. Jet pack, cloak thing and gauntets seem to vary from one example to another so I just picked one and left it at that.  ;)

I very nearly binned his helmet antenna as it was so twisted out of shape it looked like a bit of sprue!

Troopers are Nice and clean! BUT Boba is just breathtaking...
 8)
I too have a Knight Models set of Storm Troopers, boy are these guys thin.
So far I was a bit intimidated to start assembling them...
(I always try to imagine how thin a Storm Trooper is without his armour...)
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de
