It should be interesting to check the ruleset. Heroclix was a bit too much board-game like to me, but ... who knows!

I unboxed my ships last night.  I have 21 of the 28 in the set.  I bought two counter displays and the starter.

I had more Federation ships than Klingon Empire.  The details are fantastic!  Itty bitty decals for hull numbers, the whole thing.  They are really quite awesome.

I have about a 50/50 mix of Original Series/Movies to Next Gen/DS9/Voyager ships.  One of the most satisfying purchases I've made in a loooong time.

The official site doesn't like my browser, so photos here would be great if anyone can do that.

Has a full review.  I didn't take any pics of my stuff, but I'll see about getting some preview pics added here.

Does anyone know how these ships compare with the Mongoose ones? I know that they are different eras etc but I'm sure I saw an Excelsior display model at Attack last year.

Nice review, I have to say I am tempted too, but what I really do NOT like is the obvious scale differences of the ships, they seem to be all over the place.  :( :?
The new Mongoose stuff is all 1/2500 IIRC. So some may fit while other will be too big or small...

I think I'd go with one range or the other. I've got the old Games Workshop Starship Combat which I really liked it at the time.
