Panzer crew [new WIP added 6/4/12]
« on: February 07, 2012, 02:02:13 PM »
A couple of Artizan models. 2 done, 3 and half to go. These are just quick snaps and the client will be sorting out the basing.

Hope you like 'em Sonny.  ;)

Very nice work, I like your approach. Black eyes with white pupils? Now, that's interesting...

Dave, I'm pretty sure the black of the pupils isn't visible because you'd need an extreme close-up to see that. So in other words: Pupils are black.

Impressive paintjob by the way. Really like the models!
Daaaaaaaaaaaaah !

I paint the eyes black and then dot in the whites in the corners. Thing is with these models and a lot of others is the eyes are so small that trying to paint them fully is nigh on impossible or just results in the old startled rabbit look. Because of that I tend to just dot one corner of each eye white which gives the impression the eyes are looking in a particular direction too.

Beautiful.

I love the map in the officers hands.  His trousers are also fantastic.

Those figures look like very nice sculpts too.

Wowee! Absolutely top quality. Love them.
Great Mike Owen figures too. Are these from the Artizan WW2 range? I might add them to my thrilling tales collection...  :)

Beautiful work! Stunning really.
I agree about your black tones! Spectacular! Would you be so kind to say something about your colour choice?
